EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 425 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States. EducationUSA also provides services to the U.S. higher education community to help institutional leaders meet their recruitment and campus internationalization goals. EducationUSA is your official source on U.S. higher education.
We have ten advisers in eight centers (Medan, Banda Aceh, Makassar, Malang, and two centers in Surabaya) throughout Indonesia and two of them are in Jakarta - one is inside the U.S. Embassy Jakarta and the other one is in @america.
If you are an alumnus/alumna who has completed your study from a university(ies) in the United States and would like to strengthen the U.S. alumni community in Indonesia and also help the Indonesians who want to study in the U.S., EducationUSA Indonesia would like to invite you to be part of us!
Join the other 500 alumni by clicking here.
We are hoping with this database, we can connect young Indonesians who are planning to study in the U.S. with one or two alumni such as yourself, from the same institution the student is interested in applying to. Not only that, you can also guide the students with their personal essay/statement of purpose, resume/CV, etc.
Calling all current students and/or graduates of U.S. colleges and universities! If you are interested in speaking at @america (in-person or via Skype, if you are not in Jakarta) and have a topic in mind, let us know as we always welcome anyone (students/alumni) from any accredited U.S. universities to join our events here with EducationUSA @america. Topics can be as technical as how to write a personal essay or statement of purpose, how to strengthen a resume/CV, or simply how to make the most of your American education or internship opportunity in the US. The sky's the limit! If you are interested, email us at: jakarta.atamerica@educationusa.org
